Mellis Memorial Hall Kids Easter Disco
Following the great feedback we receive from providing the entertainment at the Mellis Primary School Xmas Disco, we are pleased to host a new, 'egg'stra special EASTER event for the amazing kids of Mellis School at the Memorial Hall (just down the road)
Like the Xmas disco, this will be split into 2 parties

INFANTS Disco - 4:30pm to 5:45pm
(for all kids in Reception & years 1 & 2)
JUNIORS Disco - 6:00pm to 7:30pm
(for all kids in years 3,4,5 & 6)

The Party Starters Events FAQ's

Q - Are parents/guardians allowed to stay at these events?
A - Yes they are and we will have chairs laid out for staying parents/guardians along with teas and coffees available at 50p each
Q - Is there parking available?
A - Yes there is free parking on site although depending on the venue, you may need to look out for sign posts showing where this is
Q - How many people will be staffing the event?
A - There will be 3-4 staff at our events with someone on the door monitoring this for the duration of the event so no one goes a stray or leaves without the parent/guardian they arrived with.
Q - Will any food be provided for the children?
A - No food will be provided and so recommend they eat either before or after their disco time slot but we will be selling Jam Packed Sweetie cones at just £1 each for little energy boost if required
Q - Will you have smoke machines as my child could be affected by this?
A - We will be bringing along professional vertical fog machines which use a quick dispersal fluid to create a CO2 effect, but this should not affect any children with asthma or other breathing related issues. If you would however prefer for smoke machines not to be used, please advise the DJ before the start if the party.
Q - Will you have strobe lighting at the disco as my child could be affected by this?
A - We will have some controlled strobe lighting at the disco but this does not have to be used if you are concerned about this affecting your child, just let the DJ know on the day.
Q - Will the disco be loud?
A - We control the sound levels so that they do not exceed the recommended limit set for children and we also bring along 4 speakers as this allows us to cover a bigger area without having to turn music up to exceed these levels.
Q - I will be dropping my child off but someone else will be picking them up, is this OK?
A - We will be taking names of every child and parent that comes in and you will have an option to add a password so that when your child is being collected by someone different they will need to have this password before we will let your child go with them. We will also request your phone number in case you will need to be contacted.
